My father and I started Sask Shrimp Ltd. in 2021. We first set out into the world to become shrimp farmers. However the tariffs in Canada were too high for us to produce shrimp. Since we heard that many farmers in America were selling their pig barns and grain farms to produce shrimp, we decided we could create a viable business producing shrimp feed.

My father sent me back to University to complete my Msc in Mechanical Engineering to develop a better feed for shrimp. I found the biggest problem with conventional shrimp feed is that it disintegrates too quickly in the water, providing a nutrient source for bacteria and vibrio to grow. To back manage the bacterial growth and the potential crop sickness costs a farmer a lot of money.

Through my Msc research, Sask Shrimp Ltd. patented my findings, which is a biologically based, environmentally friendly, adjustable strengthening for batch pellets. We have engineered an aquaculture feed to last 5-6 times longer in the water then conventional feed and still is digestable in the species fed. We have also engineered a plant-based-crop-farm-management pellet to last an entire grow season in a farmer's field with only a single application. We've proven our agriculture pellet administers constituents at the same metric over 4 months as monthly application of the same product without the Enduretech Technology (same constituent volumes).

Today, we are selling our own aquaculture and agriculture management pellets globally, as well as providing the EndureTch product to organizations that have their own pellets. We can provide the EndureTech product to any existing pellet, which provides any desired strengthening, hydrophobicity, thermal stability, durability or disintegration time. Formulations are made based on design objectives.
